Course Background
The viniyoga of Yoga Introductory Study Course evolved out of Paul Harvey's many years of personal lessons with his teacher TKV Desikachar. The Introductory Course reflects the teachings of TKV Desikachar and his teacher the eminent T Krishnamacharaya as taught to Paul over 25 years.
It respects and acknowledges both the spirit of his teaching and the inspiration and message of his father and teacher that Yoga is taught in a way appropriate for each person and their situation.
With this intention in mind and heart this Course is offered with due regard for both the vital source from which those Yoga teachings originated and their place and relevance in our age and culture.

It aims to present a view of Yoga through which students can support and develop their own practice and deepen their appreciation of the possibilities for Yoga in their lives.
Who is it for?
It is an opportunity for a Yoga teacher, trainee teacher or Yoga student from any Yoga background or style to develop and deepen their personal Yoga practice and study through developing an appreciation of the core teachings that underpin the viniyoga (application) of Yoga. It is also a prerequisite to further work in the cYs Yoga Study and Training Programme.

The course costs €120 for two days, it includes ten hours of teaching and is delivered by Michele.
It is run with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 12.
The course will be run in 2012, dates to be confirmed.
